Pinellas man sentenced to 11 years prison for drug sales

From the TBO website, a local man finds out that crime doesn' pay. 24-year-old Keire Harvey pled guilty to 10 years and 10 months in a federal prison for attempted sale of cocaine to an undercover officer on October 15.

Per court documents, the defendant sold crack cocaine to a largo detective five times between June and July.

Finally on July 29, his luck ran out. Keire was arrested by police when he showed up expecting to make another sale.Instead he was arrested by detectives with almost 33 grams of crack cocaine in his possession.

As of press time, there was no additional information as to why this was a federal rather then a local state offense.
