The Executive Course at Pine View could be best described as a multi-tasking track.

That’s because the par 64, 4,025-yard layout fits the swing needs of all golfers due to its design and daily set-up, which includes three sets of tees.

Whether it’s recreational beginners giving the game a try, mid- to high-handicappers in search of lower scores or scratch shooters looking to fine-tune their games, the Exec’s twists and turns, cheeky water hazard locations and subtle green undulations give everyone about three hours or less of golf satisfaction.

“Having just taken over Pine View this spring, I wasn't very familiar with our Executive Course,” said Don Costello, a member of the new four-man management team. “Typically, par three and four courses are short, can be poorly designed and don't offer much of a challenge to the more seasoned golfer.

“My wife and I have played the Executive Course on several occasions and it truly is a hidden gem. There are 18 distinctive and well-maintained holes and each time we played our round was completed in three hours. Prior to this we would often only play nine as the prospect of another two plus hours on the course held little appeal for my wife.”

Costello says the Exec is ideal for busy men and women with time and budget challenges.

“Four-and-a-half hour and up rounds and high green fees scare many away from the game,” Costello said. “Our Executive Course addresses both these issues. It offers affordable golf, completed in a reasonable amount of time and is situated right in the city.”

The Executive Course at Pine View features nine par 3s, eight par 4s and a wicked dogleg left par 5 is the finishing hole.
