We still have Flood Warning for the following rivers in South Missississippi until December 14 at 7:48 AM (CDT) . The Tallahla Creek at Laurel is Affecting Jones County. The current forecast are based on rainfall that has occurred and that is forecast to occur over the next 12 hours.

Please remember to do not drive or walk through areas where water covers roadway ! The water may be deeper than it appears. Please use extreme caution if venturing near riverbanks. Move to higher ground immediately should rising water threatens your safety. Also remember to "Turn Around Don't Drown" .

Thursday : We can expect mostly sunny skies with the afternoon temps reaching near 53. A north to northeast wind around 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Increasing clouds with a overnight low of 25. Winds out of the north around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy with a high near 58. Winds light and variable becoming southeast at 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

The remainder of the weekend looks to be a wet one over the Pine Belt . Good Chance of rain both Friday night and Saturday . Lows in the lower 50's Friday night and Highs near 70 on Saturday.
