Pin the nose on Rudolph Christmas game

Create a fun and festive Christmas party game for children and the young at heart. Engage the children with fun games and activities during your annual holiday party or family gathering! Everyone loves to play "pin the tail" games. It is a fun ice breaker and laugh inducing!

To make your very own Pin the nose on Rudolph game, you will need to gather a few art supplies! You will need:

  • Construction paper to draw the face and head of Rudolph or Printer paper if you plan to print out your Rudolph. As an option, you may also tear a page from a Christmas coloring book. You may print an image of Rudolph at the Santa's Post Bag website.
  • A pencil, Coloring book or computer with a printer and internet access. You will only need the required items necessary for your choice of attaining a picture, print or color sheet of Rudolph.
  • Red construction paper.
  • Scissors

  •  Print, draw or locate an image, color sheet or drawing of Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.
  • Cut out the image of Rudolph. Of course, your image will need to include a facial image of Rudolph.
  • Cut out Rudolph.
  • Trace circles from the red construction paper. You will need to have enough red circle 'noses" as the number of guest that may participate in the game. It is better to have too many rather than too few red circles.

To play Pin the nose on Rudolph:

  •  Tape the picture of Rudolph to a wall, door, chalk board or white board.
  • Place the red circle "noses" in a basket or small container. Place the container near the game.
  • Apply a double side piece of tape or fold a piece of tape in half to where it will stick to the red circle "nose" and to the game board or you may choose to use a magnet, depending upon the game surface.
  • Gently cover the eyes of the person that will be pinning on the nose.
  • With the red circle "nose' in the players hand, spin the player in a circle. Two to three spins will be enough to disorientate the player.
  • Allow the player to pin the nose on Rudolph!

If you wish, you may include prizes for top three players or a little treasure for each participant!

This game is an easy and 'traditional" party game! Have fun and enjoy your family and friends during this holiday season.

You may find all of your Pin the "Nose" game supplies at your local Walgreens or craft store!
