A memo from the US Airlines pilot association "details a frightening incident that brings back memories of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks," as reported by Mike Deeson of WTSP in Tampa Bay yesterday.
The memo reports in part,
"There have been several cases recently throughout the industry of what appear to be probes, or dry-runs, to test our procedures and reaction to an inflight threat."
The memo describes "Middle-Eastern Males" as running around the plane, staying for long periods of time in the restrooms, and "changing seats, opening overhead bins, and generally making a scene."
According to pilot Wolf Koch, "many other flight crews are concerned the planning may already be underway."
Fox News reported today that in response to the memo, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) investigated the concerns, and "it was determined that the matter required no further investigation at this time."
A journalist from WTSP who spoke to Federal Air Marshals on condition of anonymity said that the TSA are "liars." The story continued to say,
"...the TSA does not want the flying public to be aware of the problems with these terrorists probes. The Air Marshal and others we have spoken to say several flights they have worked have been targets of dry runs and most of his colleagues believe that no matter what the TSA says, the incident aboard flight 1880 is serious."
Is this a sign of another pending terror attack?
