Pillsbury recall: Pillsbury is recalling its Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing which are being sold in grocery stores nationally. The Pillsbury recall was initiated because the dough may contain broken pieces of plastic. The Pillsbury recall of its refrigerated Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing was announced by Food products company General Mills Inc. on Friday according to a Sept. 6, 2013, NASDAQ report.
The Pillsbury recall of its refrigerated Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing is affecting the following packages:
- Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing 8-count single and double packages that have use-by-dates of 30, 31 October 2013.
- Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing 2-pack that have use-by-dates of 18, 26, 31 October 2013.
The Pillsbury recall only affects the above mentioned products. No addition flavors or varieties of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls or Pillsbury dough products are being recalled.
Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls and Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls are not included in the recall.
According to the General Mills Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls recall webpage, "consumers who have products covered by this recall are urged to contact General Mills for a replacement. Consumers with questions may contact General Mills toll-free at 1-800-775-4777.
