The Pillsbury recall making headline news was announced as a “Voluntary Class II” recall by the Pillsbury Company for certain batches of the Pillsbury brand cinnamon Rolls. According to The Inquisitr on Sept. 6, the recall only effects one of the flavors of the different cinnamon rolls it offers.
The Pillsbury recall was prompted because the company believes that fragments of plastic could have entered the product during the production process. The recall comes just in time for the weekend when folks have the extra time to bake these cinnamon delights as a breakfast treat or even for a snack.
Pillsbury released a statement which included:
“This action is being taken as a precaution because the dough may contain fragments from a broken piece of plastic on the production line. These products are sold in grocery stores nationally. No other Pillsbury dough products are being recalled.”
The company was also very specific to convey that the recall is on only one batch of the cinnamon rolls. Before you throw out any of the Pillsbury products that you have in your refrigerator, check the list below. The products you have at home may not be involved in this recall.
