Piles to Avoid

My youngest son adamantly exclaimed, "There's poop--There's more cow poop!" repetitively when he and I made our way through a cow-manure infested pasture. Being upon my shoulder he was able to detect them quite easily, therefore helping us both avoid them. Similarily, our Lord sees things from a greater vantage point. One would fare well to listen to His warnings, His instructions, and His encouragements.

Oftentimes, we are relegated by our own doings to step into nasty; murky situations for lack of proper steps made possible by a sound mind that His Spirit freely gives to His beloved. A great battle of my own is saga of trying to continue living in Kingdom modes instead of allowing myself to be enticed to live within my flesh. There is great peace forfeited as a result. One can blame no one and use no excuse for our lack of peace. Jesus is the Prince of Peace and to Him alone will all answer to, so why do we not start owning up to our "manure pile" stepping and ask for His help; following through by taking His advice. One must first admit to the need for Help. Will you? It is not too late to ask for His help. I hope my record of asking for Help is growing more and that I would decrease and He would increase in my life like John the Baptist desired.

Isaiah 55:9 HCSB
“For as heaven is higher than earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."

In John 15:5, Jesus states, "Apart from me you can do nothing."

1 Corinthians 2:16 HCSB
"For who has known the Lord’s mind, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ."
