Roll Up with Band: Once you have mastered the assisted roll up, it’s time to try it with the legs straight. You will use resistance tubing for support again.
- Begin sitting up straight as in Roll down step 2.
- Wrap the band around the arches of your feet, holding one end in each hand.
- Roll down one vertebrae at a time until your head touches the floor. Exhale, round neck to bring your chin to your chest and roll up, using your biceps to pull against the resistance tubing if you get stuck. Keep your legs glued to the mat at all times.
Repeat 5-8 times, trying to use your arms less and less each time you come up.
