Pikerson Mentor, Saubnet Politesse sentenced for murdering Florida mail carrier

No one is safe anymore. Criminals are continuously thinking about the next crime. Some will even kill a mail carrier.

Who would want to harm a mailperson? The answer is Pikerson Mentor and Saubnet Politesse.

Pikerson Mentor and Saubnet Politesse were sentenced to federal prison for murdering a Miami mail carrier back in 2010.

According to the Huffington Post, “Mentor was found guilty by a jury in September on 14 counts, including homicide, carjacking, robbery, possession of a firearm and aggravated identity theft.”

Now he will spend the rest of his life in prison, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Friday. Politesse, on the other hand, was sentenced to prison for 21 years. “He pleaded guilty to murder and theft charges earlier.”

Prosecutors argued that these men robbed and murdered Bruce Parton, 60, at an apartment complex in December 2010. Mentor and Politesse “targeted Parton so they could get a master key to open mailboxes in a wide geographic area.”

Their insidious plan was to allegedly “steal identities by intercepting mail with sensitive personal information.”

Is anyone safe anymore?
