Piggly Wiggly carries an unfair stigma. All stores are independently owned, so cleanliness and variety can definitely vary. However, they do have commonalities, including each store’s selection of BBQ and wing sauces from local restaurants and personalities.
Do you like Country’s or Mike & Ed’s BBQ? What about John Boy & Billy’s grilling sauce or B. Merrell’s wing sauce? The Pig has them.
Aside from the local flavors, Piggly Wiggly simply has one of the largest sauce and marinade selections around. I’ve stood for ten minutes to decide which BBQ sauce looks the best. White, mustard based, tomato based, vinegar based—it’s overwhelming!
If you’re looking for a good Southern sauce, I definitely recommend popping into your local Pig.
