Ridgeview Farm, located in Middlefield, Ohio in the heart of Northeast Ohio Amish country, is offering family-friendly Fall Fun Weekends from now through October 27. It is approximately a 55 minute drive from Cleveland.
Ridgeview Farm Fall Fun Weekends Every weekend during the month of October visitors can participate in the Fall Fun Weekends activities including taking a 20 minute hayride through the Farm's 100-acre woods, picking their own pumpkin from the fields and finding their way through the 4-acre corn maze.
Ridgeview Farm also has a petting zoo where you can meet and pet baby cows, pygmy goats, rabbits, sheep, chickens and even an emu.
The high point of a visit to Ridgeview Farm is the Pig Races held every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. through October. Watch as six 2-month-old-piglets race to the finish line for a reward of cookies. Apparently, pigs are big fans of cookies and you don't want to miss their mad dash for the prize.
Be sure to check out the Amish Bake Stand at the Farm where you can purchase lots of homemade bakery items to take home.
Hours for the Fall Fun Weekends are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free but there is a $5.50 fee for the hayrides and a $5.50 fee for the corn maze. You can purchase a combo ticket for both attractions for $10. The Pig Races are free.
