Piers Morgan apparently doesn't like guns. The host of the CNN show is so adamant against the current weapons laws that he is now suggesting he might leave America if the laws aren't changed. Sharing his opinion in the Daily Mail on Saturday, the star is suggesting he might deport himself if the rules surrounding the regulations aren't changed by the time his youngest child goes to school
While the suggestion of self-deportation sounds ridiculous, the idea stems from the White House petition reflecting on Piers Morgan with 90,000 signatures. People who don’t appreciate his opinion are asking that the government deport the star because of his beliefs. Yet, all this deportation talk has little to do with the big issue of gun control.
However Piers Morgan has his own theory on why people keep guns in their homes.
“But the main reason the more fervent gun-rights activists give is a fear of their own US federal government using its army to impinge on their freedom,” writes Piers Morgan about some people who own guns in the United States.
While the star might have a theory on why people love guns, it does appear that he very well might leave the United States if he feels the gun control regulations are not tightened. Sharing his concerns in a very pointed way, Piers Morgan would “seriously consider deporting myself” if the issues aren't addressed.
While some critics are glad to hear that Piers Morgan is looking at possibly leaving America, others recognize that Morgan’s discussion has little to do with the issue of finding common ground of gun control.
