Piers Morgan suffers broken bones, bruises after being battered in cricket match

Have you ever wanted to see CNN's Piers Morgan get beaten, bruised, and battered? Of course you have. Well, here's your chance. Morgan suffered numerous injuries after being repeatedly battered by an annoyed Australian cricket bowler Thursday evening, according to a report today on MEDIAite.

The report says Morgan had been taunting the Australian player because he was tired of watching his beloved English team being dominated by the Aussies. Apparently this led to Morgan being publicly challenged by Australian player Brett Lee. When Morgan faced Lee he was repeatedly pelted with 80 m.p.h. bowls (what Americans would call pitches) by the Aussie in several spots on his body

Morgan Tweeted a complete list of his injuries after the event, which included a broken wrist, bruised ribs, and a "massive egg" on the back of his head.

It would seem Morgan's trademark snarkiness and insults have finally caught up to him.

If you would like to watch the fun a video of the action is available at MEDIAite.
