Piers Morgan: People who disagree with Obama's proposals 'makes me sick'

Throwing a tantrum on his program Wednesday, CNN propagandist Piers Morgan told Dana Loesch and Scottie Hughes that people who disagree with Obama on gun control makes him sick.

The 17-minute segment started with Morgan repeatedly asking the women if they thought the Second Amendment gave them the right to have a tank, and ended with Morgan throwing wadded paper in a childish fit.

"Scottie said earlier that she doesn't agree with a single thing President Obama said today," Morgan said, asking Loesch what her view was.

Morgan interrupted Loesch as she was giving her answer, so she simply told Morgan that she did not agree with Obama as well.

"You know something," he said. "The pair of you would like the right to have a tank and you don't agree with a single one of President Obama's proposals."

"It makes me sick when I hear people say that kind of thing," he said while wadding up a piece of paper and throwing it on his desk.

A post at the Right Scoop observed that Loesch, who owns an AR-15 and knows her firearms, "even tried to explain to Piers a thing or two about ‘assault rifles’ – or rather why they aren’t assault rifles but Piers just kept wondering why she ‘needs’ something that can shoot 100 bullets in a minute."

Loesch continually told Morgan that the Second Amendment protects the right to bear arms, and if a tank was considered a firearm then it would be included.

Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit noted that one can buy a tank in Great Britain, Morgan's home country. A website called Tanks for sale sells a wide variety of military vehicles, including tanks. One can also purchase anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns.

Loesch said on her website that she has been in the position of needing firearms for her and her family's safety.

"Back in 2009, some folks who didn’t appreciate my viewpoints threatened my life and the lives of my children," she wrote. "I had to reach out to law enforcement and other security. The first thing they told me was to get a firearm if I didn’t have one. The second thing they told me was to get a conceal carry license. Law enforcement informed me that they can’t be there all the time, as great as I think they are. I was told to 'take steps to protect yourself.' I had rifles, but purchased my first personal handgun nearly five years ago as a result of that experience. So yes, I absolutely do know what it’s like to face a threat and because of that I oppose any attempt to create more victims by removing from law-abiding citizens their ability to protect themselves and their families."

But if Morgan had his way, she wouldn't be allowed to protect herself and her family.

Video of the exchange can be seen here.
