Piers Morgan appeared on his CNN show Monday, Jan. 7, where he entertained pro-gun fanatic Alex Jones. Jones went off right from the get go with his strong support for gun ownership.
Alex Jones repeatedly shouted the outspoken Morgan down. Jones pulled no punches on how he felt about losing his guns.
Yelling, Jones said, “Let me say, 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms. No matter how many lemmings you get out there on the street begging for them to be taken. We will not relinquish them.”
In addition to his gun ownership ravings, Alex Jones also stated that 911 was an inside job and made sure to mention Piers Morgan’s link to the “News Of The World” phone hacking scandal.
Jones repeatedly made fun of Morgan’s British accent and called Morgan “a hatchet man of the New World Order.” At one point Jones even challenged Morgan to a boxing match.
Piers Morgan hasn’t hid his desire for stricter gun control laws. He’s stance has only gotten stronger in the wake of the mass shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Conn., and the movie theater in Aurora, CO. Many gun proponents have started a petition for Piers Morgan to be deported back to England.
