Piers Morgan and Alex Jones battle gun control in CNN interview (Video)

Monday night on CNN, talk show host Piers Morgan interviewed radio talk show host Alex Jones who wants Morgan deported from the United States back to the United Kingdom for having expressed his anti-guns opinions on Morgan's nightly television program - "Piers Morgan Tonight". Jones was instrumental in starting the White House petition to get Piers Morgan deported – a petition which has now received well over 100,000 signatures - and has been acknowledged by White House Press Secretary Jay Carney in that the petition has received more than the 25,000 signatures needed for a White House response.

Piers Morgan allowed to stay in the USA

On “Piers Morgan Tonight”, Alex Jones vehemently and negatively reacted to Morgan’s desire to get guns taken away from American citizens – a Second Amendment right under the United States Constitution.

The controversy surrounding Piers Morgan began when he spoke out against guns after the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, leaving 20 children and 7 adults dead at the gun-toting hand of Adam Lanza.

Jones called Morgan “a hatchet man of the New World Order”. And at the most explosive point in the interview, Jones got in Morgan’s face with his finger and yelled:

1776 will commence again, if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you get out of the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?

By the program’s end, Jones thanked Morgan for the opportunity of being on his program.
