Pierre Casiraghi was the victim of a vicious brawl in the meatpacking district of New York City on Saturday night. Pierre was most likely in town visiting his longtime girlfriend Beatrice Borromeo, who attends Columbia University. The fight erupted, according to the NY Post, when Pierre and friend shipping heir Stavros Niarchos drank liquor that didn’t belong to them and were rude to other patrons. Casiraghi was then hit by Adam Hock, who has been charged with four counts of third-degree assault in the matter, and was taken to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center for treatment. The court records showed that there is disagreement as to who started the fight, but no disagreement on who ended it. Pierre’s lawyer stated to the Post that “It was a horrifying incident . . . It was entirely unprovoked.” No word on how long Pierre will be in the US or what the extent of his injuries were. Pierre Casiraghi is the youngest of HRH Princess Caroline of Monaco’s children with her late husband Stefano Casiraghi.
