According to the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center in Mobile, 90% of the pieces of their former television newsroom exhibit (some of the pieces were part of WKRG-TV's previous set for local TV news programs) were repurposed for a new exhibit called the Science Squad Headquarters and saved for future renovations. The rest of the pieces (including old computers and a few graphics panels) were sent away to be recycled.
