This weekend marks the end of the Animal Care and Control Team's (ACCT) Bark in the Mew Year: 13 days of 13 adoption specials. To cap off the nearly 2 week marathon of daily free specials, this weekend is an extravaganza of affordable adoptions. All weekend long, all animals at ACCT are available for the fee that you name. The promotion is "Pick your own price," and it means exactly that. Any pet, any age, size, color, breed or species is all yours for what you can pay. Go low and save the rest for supplies for the new addition. Or go high and help ACCT to keep saving animals and make it more comfortable for those already in the shelter.
Whatever your needs, likes or limitations, there is a pet (or a few!) at ACCT right now that is perfect for your household. And this weekend, it is all on your terms. Check out the pets in the slideshow and then go right to the shelter and have your pick, at your price. Take the family and any family dogs to 111 W.Hunting Park Avenue to ensure a good match. Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday (1/12) and Sunday (1/13). All other adoption details can be found on the ACCT website along with an adoption application.
