Forty-six vendors are expected to be at the festival, including The Land of Kush, Golden West, Woodland's Bistro Food Truck, Tiffany's Oven, and Glory Donuts.
Held on campus at UMBC, the free festival will also feature live music, yoga instruction, speakers, nutrition experts and a children's area. There will be opportunities to win prizes, as well. The D.C.Vegetarian Society will be giving away one free spot on an upcoming rafting trip. Visit Green Earth Travel to find out more or stop by the booth at the festival.
VegFest is put on by UMBC Vegetarians and The Humane League and will run from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
Want to stay local but still in the mood for a festival? Visit the Bromo Arts Block Hop, also on May 3. Check out art, music and free food from The Land of Kush, the restaurant that will, somehow, on Saturday May 3, manage to be at two festivals at once.
How many festivals will you be at?
