Want to try a winning cupcake? Visit VegFest at UMBC on Saturday, May 3. Food Network's Cupcake Wars two-time winner, Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats, will be doing a demonstration.

Forty-six vendors are expected to be at the festival, including The Land of Kush, Golden West, Woodland's Bistro Food Truck, Tiffany's Oven, and Glory Donuts.

Held on campus at UMBC, the free festival will also feature live music, yoga instruction, speakers, nutrition experts and a children's area. There will be opportunities to win prizes, as well. The D.C.Vegetarian Society will be giving away one free spot on an upcoming rafting trip. Visit Green Earth Travel to find out more or stop by the booth at the festival.

VegFest is put on by UMBC Vegetarians and The Humane League and will run from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
