Phyto Universe- truly a garden oasis in Manhattan. I was lucky enough to get a hair consultation and treatment at this midtown spa and left feeling relaxed and looking great. What I loved most about the salon space is how it’s so unsuspecting on 57th st. You walk in, get in an elevator and when the doors open, it’s like you’re taken to the country side. Each treatment room, or “cabin,” as they call them, is constructed of antique wood shutters from a 14th century chateau, while aromatic essences soothe your senses and rejuvenate your mind. Each client receives a complimentary hair and scalp analysis as to best decide what botanical products and treatment suits each person. I requested the Regenerating “Thairapy” since my hair has been a bit on the thin side lately due to highlights and flat irons and the treatment didn’t disappoint. 90 minutes later, I left with soft, rejuvenated hair. An all-botanical formula was created for this treatment to stop further hair loss and regenerate new growth. The anti-aging action of grapeseed extracts helps thicken, energize and strengthen hair from root to end. In the end, the hair will become more voluminous with added body to boot!
