Physical intimacy occurs in asexual relationships, but sex may not

The Daily Nation recently ran an article about asexuals. It focused on one aspect on the same aspect many people do when they first hear about asexuality, the lack of physical intimacy. Many asexuals do not engage in intercourse, but there are many romantic asexuals who are not averse to physical touch. Cuddle sessions are common in such relationships.

The meaning of the Daily nation article is clear, but the reporter could have described it as a lack of a need for sex.. When these articles come out, asexuals, particularly those who frequent AVEN and Tumblr, quickly point out the flaws in the article.

A vocal response has not occurred, perhaps because of Taylor Swift's misfortune. Recent news regarding Harry Styles may have overshadowed this article, which appeared on the 19th, but the information is not revolutionary. The same information has appeared in hundreds of other lifestyle pieces, but it does go beyond the simple articles that report on the existence of asexuals
