Physical attration is very important to some people when it comes to relationships. To other people it doesen't matter. Here is an interview with someone who is off the record and gives their opinion on weather or not physical attraction is important when it comes to relationships.
Jen Panaro: How important is physical attraction when a girl and a guy first see each other? Off the Record: It can be important. A lot of people judge immediatley based on physical apparence, so that impressions can change how they feel about each other initially.
JP: Some people say personality is important. How do you feel? OTR: I don't think that's completely true.
JP: Why do you feel this way? OTR: While it's important, a person needs to like that personality enough to be attracted to them. Other than that, attraction can be important, even if a person doesen't want it to be that way.
JP: In 2013 everything is lust. Do you thinkthe pressure with looks and love will increase or decrease? OTR: With looks it will increase, with love it will decrease.
JP: Why do you feel this way? OTR: Well lust is mostly about looks, so if you want to be a part of the growing trend looks are more important and love less.
JP: What advice do you give to those who love someone but aren't with someone attractive? OTR: If you find them attractive, that's all you need. If you really aren't sexually attracted to them, it might just be a friendship. So try to determine what type of love it is that you feel.
To some people looks are important because otherwise you need to be initmiate. To others it's a personality that makes the other person attractive.
