Mirrodin Besieged's Phyrexian Rebirth is a twisted take on the classical white board sweeper we've seen so many different versions of over the years, from Wrath of God to Akroma's Vengeance.
Phyrexian Rebirth
4WW
Sorcery - Rare
Destroy all creatures, then put an X/X colorless Horror artifact creature token onto the battlefield, where X is the number of creatures destroyed this way.
Phyrexian Rebirth takes creature sweepers to the next level and provides a metallic monster out of the righteous wrath. Not only do you get to wipe the board clean, but you get to position yourself to lay on a serious offense.
The 6 casting cost might be too much for Phyrexian Rebirth to see serious play, but a regular Day of Judgment can win games against swarms and this kicks it up a notch and closes the game out without even needing another card. You'll need some acceleration if you hope to play Phyrexian Rebirth before being overwhelmed by goblins, elves, or other speedy templates).
Expect your friends who load up their Commander decks with wrath effects to be sporting Phyrexian Rebirth as soon as possible, there will be 20/20 artifact horrors running wild.
