Kitsap Pumas fans bundle up in what are becoming trademark icons for the club: blue and white checkered flags. (David Falk)

Last Saturday in Bremerton the Washington Huskies played the Kitsap Pumas in an exhibition match. The Huskies are in their spring phase of training before kicking off a new season in the fall. The Pumas will open defense of their Premier Development League Northwest crown this Saturday May 1 at the Yakima Reds.
