Brittany Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack spoke out for first time since her death Sunday morning (photos). The world has been shocked by Brittany Murphy’s death, and many people have struggled to understand how it happen.
Simon Monjack, said that his world had been destroyed by Brittany’s death. Simon Monjack said that his mother-in-law, Sharon found Brittany "unresponsive" in the bathroom after she had been in there for awhile. "Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran. Then called 911."
Monjack said that Brittany was really run down after a really busy year in which she completed a couple of movies. "She had laryngitis. She had been tired at the end of the year. She had made a couple (of) movies," Starpulse reported.
Monack said, "My world was destroyed yesterday. I loved what Ashton wrote on Twitter. It was comforting to me. I couldn't have said it better."
Hundreds of people left condolences on Ashton Kutcher’s page Sunday, and he responded a few hours later with this tweet: "2day (sic) the world lost a little piece of sunshine. See you on the other side kid."
Brittany Murphy was at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah in January of 2008.
