Rock and Comedy for a Cause, hosted by Sopranos star, Steve Schirripa and sponsored by Yale Appliance and Electric, took place Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the War Memorial Building in Brockton.
The event raised money for the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton and the Jet Foundation. Massachusetts Hospital School's mission is to provide medical, habilitative, rehabilitative, recreational, educational and vocational services to children and young adults with multiple disabilities and to assist them in achieving their maximum level of independence in all aspects of life.
The Jett Foundation raises awareness of and funds for the research and treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy in order to create new resources for families affected by Duchenne and to find a cure for the disease.
Mark Chaupetta, whose two sons attend the Massachusetts Hospital School organized the evenings successful event.
