Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard on the big screen in What Maisie Knew. The film is set for release in 2012, and it will co-star Julianne Moore. On Tuesday, Celeb Buzz released the latest photos from the set of the film. Check those out here.
What Maisie Knew is a modern day re-telling of a novel by Henry James released in 1897. In the film, the young girl in the photos is caught between her mother and father following a divorce. Alexander Skarsgard plays the new husband married to Moore's character.
Fans of True Blood, which airs on Channel 200 in Scottsdale, have watched a new side to Skarsgard's character of Eric Northman in recent weeks. After spell take away Northman's memory, he finds himself a kinder and gentler man, and he is finally able to win the heart of Sookie, played by Anna Paquin. That series has already been picked up for a season five. In the next episode, Skarsgard's character will be involved in a dream sequence with two other characters.
Fans are waiting to see more of Alexander Skarsgard on both the small and big screen. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

What Maisie Knew is set for release to Scottsdale theaters in 2012. Fans can watch the rest of season four of True Blood on Channel 200 in Scottsdale on Sunday nights.
