Two bikini-clad Kates grabbed headlines this weeks: Kate Middleton's baby bump and Kate Upton's swimsuit cover. But Examiner.com has learned there's really no contest between the Kate's when it comes to Internet queries. "Kate Middleton's bump might be buzzing but Kate Upton's swimsuit cover is getting 17 times more searches than Kate M.," Yahoo! trends expert Carolyn Clark tells us.
Not so surprisingly is the fact that 89% of the searches for Kate Upton are by men, while the large majority of those looking for updates on the Duchess of Cambridge are women.
Since Kate Middleton was snapped in a bikini and sporting a baby bump while vacationing in Mustique on Feb. 5, searches for photos of her and her royal bump are "off the charts", Yahoo! confirms. While the Duchess may not be the most searched Kate, her bump tops the week's list of most sought after celebrity bumps. "The top searched baby bump on Yahoo! this week….Kate Middleton followed by Kim Kardashian," Clark reveals.
Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian are both due in July.
