Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see what Jennifer Lopez does next on the big screen. Her next film, Parker, is set for release to theaters in 2012, and Celeb Buzz had the latest photos from the set of the film featuring the actress on Wednesday. Check out the photos here.
Parker is a crime thriller that co-stars Jason Statham and Michael Chiklis. In the film, Statham plays a thief that lives by a very special code of honor. He never steals money from those that really need it. A modern day Robin Hood perhaps?
Lopez is also working on another film project during her summer off from American Idol, which airs on Channel 10 in Scottsdale. She is also involved in What To Expect When You're Expecting. Not only that, but her Kohl's fashion line, The Jennifer Lopez Collection, was launched on Wednesday.
She did not attend the launch event, but her soon to be ex-husband, Marc Anthony, was present to launch his own Kohl's line. He had the following to say about Lopez and their joint venture, according to CBS News:
"I always had Jennifer as a soundboard and vice versa. I'm really happy about her line and I saw all the work that she put into it."
Fans are waiting to see what Lopez does next. One fan said the following about the actress on Twitter recently:
Jennifer Lopez is badass in Enough. I wish I could fight like that.
Parker is set for release to Scottsdale theaters in October 2012.
