TMZ released 13 photos of the New York Plaza Hotel room where Charlie Sheen lost control, in what was originally termed a "drunken rage." The latest story, from Sheen's publicist, blames the hotel trashing and out-of-control behavior on an adverse reaction to medications taken by the star of the popular sitcom Two and a Half Men.
Apparently, Sheen began drinking with friends, including ex-wife Denise Richards, during a gathering at the Daniel restaurant. Richards reportedly left the dinner early, well before Sheen returned to his hotel room with one of the women.
Richards, along with Sheen's daughters Lola and Sam, were also staying at the Plaza Hotel.
The unnamed woman, who returned to the actor's room, hid in the bathroom and called security when Sheen began calling her names and tearing the room apart. Sheen complied with the police request to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and was not arrested.
Sadly, the great comedic actor's drug-and-alcohol-induced saga has not been laid to rest. Let's hope it doesn't fall into the realm of "to be continued..."
