Photos: Kate Gosselin, Pam Anderson help 'Dancing With the Stars' set record

"Dancing With the Stars" is more popular now than ever. Fueled in part by high-profile contestants such as "Baywatch" star Pam Anderson and reality TV mom Kate Gosselin, ABC's reality sensation brought in the biggest premiere numbers of its ten-season history on Monday night. The show averaged nearly 24 million viewers for the two hours, thoroughly trouncing every other show Monday night.

The next-closest show in terms of viewers was "Two and a Half Men" for CBS with 14.4 million, proving that the Charlie Sheen scandal hasn't put too big a dent into its ratings.

In the slideshow below, feel free to check out the reason why this season of "Dancing" has the potential to be the highest-rated in the show's history -- there may be fewer contestants this season, but the ones on board are popular enough to draw in plenty of viewers.

Who are you rooting for this season on "Dancing With the Stars?" Let me know your thoughts with a comment below and as always stay tuned for more TV news.
