Photos from John Peter Smith (JPS) Center for Cancer Care (Photos)

Friday, January the 25th, we journeyed to Quest Laboratories for some blood work.

Good times!

Not wanting to upset our phlebotomist, we took one photo and that's the one that is by itself and attached to this article. They don't allow cell phones or drinks. We used our cell phone to snap a pic with breakfast, a single Red Bull.

We also traveled to the John Peter Smith (JPS) Center for Cancer Care. We went to photograph whatever we could find, but were only armed with a fairly new Android phone and not our Canon.

We were headed for the "wig room" when we saw two very foreign-looking women seated in one of the three waiting areas. There were two woman and a very antsy young lady. Their skin was dark and their attire was very colorful and flowing. Egypt? Africa? Some Other Place?

We didn't know, but were fascinated. So, we approached slowly. I showed one of the women my telephone and asked, "May I take your picture?"

"No." She shook her head and we walked away. Nuts!

We continued to the wig room to see a really educated (degrees on the wall) young woman sitting behind a big desk so we explained our photographic plight and she seemed happy to allow.

The room was small and crowded.

Those images are attached as a slideshow.
