Photos: First look at Flight of the Conchords and the cast of 'Glee' on 'The Simpsons'

For those who can't wait to see the animated versions of the "Glee" cast, FOX has just released the first images of what they'll look like when they guest on the season premiere of "The Simpsons."

The "Glee" characters being featured in the episode (airing Sept. 26) are Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith), and Mercedes (Amber Riley).

In "Elementary School Musical" Lisa will meet the younger versions of the New Directions members when she decides to go off to a performance arts camp, and discovers a new love for musical theatre. 

The "Glee" kids aren't the only ones getting the animated treatment, as New Zealand folk/comedy duo Flight of the Conchords will also be guest starring on the episode, lending their voices to a pair of artsy camp counselors.

This will be the first major TV appearance by band members Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement since they made the decision to end their HBO comedy series last year to the disappointment of many fans.

"The Simpsons" returns for its 22nd season on Sun., Sept. 26 at 8pm ET/ 7c
