The 2010 NAACP Theatre Awards were held earlier this week, as the 20th annual event honored Ashanti (Spirit Award), Jeffrey Wright (Lifetime Achievement Award), Wren T. Brown (Community Service Award), Kenny Leon (Trailblazer Award), and Quadiru Kent on behalf of Walmart (President Award).
The show, hosted by LisaRaye McCoy and Mekhi Phifer, featured some of the best in Hollywood as presenters, including Nia Long, Meagan Good, Sharon Leal, Lance Gross, and Kelly Price. The show also welcomed the talents of Bobby Valentino as musical guest.
