Got ink? Twilight Movie Tattoos are the latest rage prior to the Twilight Saga New Moon Movie. A Robert Pattinson Face. Twilight symbols and words spoken by characters to display devote loyalty to this Movie Series. Tattoo parlors around the Los Angeles area have indicated Twilight is one of the top five themes being inked in preparation for the Twilight Movie New Moon
Thanks to the Internet you can find oodles of fans who show off their 'tat's.' Plenty of photos can be found at Insider and BellASugar to see the selection out there before the movie However, what is lost to Twilight fans is how application of the tattoo applied to the body. According to Tattoo.com the pain does vary but there can be complications and where you decide to place the tattoo is another issue.
Now the twilight tattoos aren't going on people who usually wear tattoos (and we all know someone who wears a tattoo because it fits their personality.) The ink is being put on Twilight fans who are getting a tattoo for the first time to show their loyalty to the movies. Plus the cost of these cuties are anywhere from $70 for an inch to the hundreds for a full color ink spread. Which begs one to ask aren't the Twilight fans just showing off?
If you are thinking Twilight Tattoos are for you, then you need to find a photo of the Twilight theme you want to put on your skin. Drop by the local tattoo parlor to find an artist who can make your twilight tattoo personalized. Before you reach those doors, you need to have an idea so look through the Twilight magazines out a few 'looks' gives the artist something to start with.
Let's reminisce a bit on how five years from now those Twilight Tattoos will be in vogue (NOT). Those fans with Harry Potter Tattoos who had to have one when the FIRST movie came out, could you please raise your hand. Yep, that was so yesterday. Any chance you can tat it a face of Robert Pattinson over it so your boss doesn't think you're lame now? Just a thought.

I could never do it... But I secretly love them. :)
I'm a huge fan of the Twilight Saga, but I'd never put a tattoo like that on myself. In addition, the art work is horrid and the whole piece looks ridiculous.
this one looks rele horible!
I have to admit to being one of those with not just one, but two Twilight tattoos. HOWEVER, mine have more meaning then just Twilight. My "Be safe" tattoo is dedicated for all of my family and friends that keep me in check and always make sure that I am safe. They are my haven. The Cullen Crest that I have is close to the crest I designed for my family anyway and then also to my ties with extended "family" or rather, the closest of friends that I have that are nearly like my family. I have 13 tats total and I'm proud of every single one of them and yes, I will want them five years down the road...even 20...50 if I live that long.
wow these make me cringe like anything. they look so painful and...big
I would SOOOOOOOOOOO get one. But sadly, I'm not old enough. But something small and simple, nothing huge and complex.[:
I have tattoos, and i luv Stephanie Meyers books, but I would never do this. I think the only person who should get a tattoo with those symbols or the names, is Stephanie herself because she wrote them. But everyone else should stay away from these tats. The one above looks horrible, the artist should be sued!
ugh, that tatoo is terrible.
i love twilight and all, but i would never go this far.
a quote, maybe. but pictures? no way in hell.
They're all crap. I hope they realise that they're permanent, moronic Twitards.
Those who get these "fan tats" seem to forget that they're going through a "phase". Yes, it IS a phase. My friends say that I'm not a "Twilighter" but rather a "Twihard", but I know that getting a Twilight tattoo now will cause a LOT of pain in, say, a decade when I'm on to being a fan of something else. Now I've seen some pretty Twi-Tats, but I can guarantee you that those tats won't look good on a 70 year old granny (or grandpa), because let's face it - we're all going to age.
woww looks good.i am huge fan ofm twilight.
love it
these people must be really annoying to be around if they are obsessed so far as to have/need to get a tattoo.
OME!! what were some of these people thinking if they were thinking at all!! i like number 4 as the artist is brillient but the first one is revolting!! something small to remind you of a phase in your life is one thing but a massive crap tat across your back O.o ZOMG!
Please dont judge anyone as it kinda unfair, its their personal choice and their body!
Sometimes it not just about liking the books, its about what they have done for you (A deeper meaning) so for people to say "Thats horrible" or "Thats sad" is cruel.
Duuuuuuuhhhh! ITS ART! I LOVE IT! TWILIGHT IS AWESOME!!!
Oh My Gosh these tatoo's have been done wrong im very sorry to say hun ( in the pic) but they look like he just drew them on.
He should of drawn the outlines from all the books and then putt em on and done em this tatoo artist needs to go back to school and learn again. I mean im a twisaga fan too id possibly consider the cresent moon but a tiny one i also hav a tat i got it when i was 18 and its a Butterfly it present's freedom.
I already have several tattoos and have been wanting to get another one for my daughter (she's now 6) and I haven't been able to come up with something for her that I really wanted until Breaking Dawn. I will (when money allows) get a tattoo for her on my back. It will be a heart with her name in it and around the heart will be the words from Nessie's locked (in English) "more than my own life". Breaking Dawn is my favorite of the series, mainly because I am a mom and understand Bella's relationship with Nessie. The scene in the field with the Volturi and Bella is saying goodbye to Nessie really touched me and makes me cry everytime I read it now matter how many times. Like Bella, I would do anything for my daughter to keep her safe and happy. So this tattoo would show my love not only for my daughter but my love for the series as a Twimom in a very subtly way.
What does this have to do with Celebrity headlines? PLEASE stay on topic - it is the only way the site will work
I wouldn't get these.
I love Twilight but still...
I mean maybe a little quote like "Be safe" or "Lion and the Lamb" (in Edward's handwritting) but not a big picture of the books...
but i really hate needles so no thanks.
i love twilight and all that but i'd neva go THAT far
maybe a phase but not a picture.............
I like twilight but this is a bit much.
Pix 4 is amazing! I'm not sure if I would or wouldn't get a twilight tatoo... probably not a big one and probably not the word twilight, but maybe a quoate or small pic from one of the covers...
i love twilight and all, the books and movies, but this, this seems a bit much. why would you want a tattoo of this on you?? it's stupid, a going over the top. besides, it looks AWEFUL!! yuck.
I am not a fan of tatoos but after reading a couple of comments here I kind of get it. I understand a bit more. Great article by the way. I had no clue this was happening all over.
wow these are really cool, but i would never get a tattoo but if i did this would def be the first one on my list!
im a twihard!
lol that looks kwl. Twilights awsum!! :)
I thought that the tatoos were wickedly awesome seriously awesome
if u get something to do with twilight tattood on urself..
there is something seriously wrong with u
I love all of these and myself has just had my twilight saga tattoo done and people do this for the love of it and what it stands for them nobody else...
That is awful. Whoever got those tattoos are idiots and go ahead, keep telling yourself that you won't regret your tats, but I'm sure in 6 months you'll be face palming yourselves.
Idiots.
wow thats one of the stupidest tattoos ive ever seen the woman must be pretty dumb
I'm a twilight fan and all but i wouldn't get a big tattoo to represent my twilight love. Maybe a little one sure. But it is that persons body and its their life. Some may regret getting them, some may not.
I think it's a bit much for die hard fan. I like twilight but it's a lil on the crazy side to get a huge tattoo that no offense, but looks like crap. But as they say " To each their own".
Please do not compare Twilight fans to Harry Potter fans.
There is a huge difference.
First off, Harry Potter is not about a sparkling vampire and a horny, naive girl.
Second, Harry Potter has been around for 12 years and there are still die hard fans out there, it is not simply something that is or was "in vogue" as Twilight is.
And third, Twilight blows, while Harry Potter is simply awesome.
don't know which is more queet the vampire or this tatoo chick
Got something to say?
