Friday night always brings a big crowd to the Newport and this night was no exception. The venue was packed with metal fans who had a great time rocking out to opening bands Asking Alexandria and Born of Osiris.
The moshing and crowd surfing maintained its pace throughout All That Remains' set, from the opener Now Let Them Tremble, off their latest album For We Are the Many, to This Calling, from 2006's The Fall of Ideals, through the closer Two Weeks, their biggest single thus far off of 2008's Overcome. Vocalist Phil Labonte kept the energy up all night as his bandmates kept the action busy all over their dynamic stage setup behind him.
Their album For We Are the Many is currently at #5 on Billboard's Hard Rock album chart. All That Remains is headed to Europe for a quick tour before the end of the year.
