Photography Exhibition at 608 North

Santa Fe has Canyon Road, New York has Museum Mile, Cape Cod has Provincetown and now Redondo Beach has North Francesca.

A most welcome addition to the South Bay art scene, Kevin Holladay opened the new 608 North Art Gallery in December 2011.

Located next door to the venerable Cannery Row Studios, 608 North features two exhibit spaces and a gift shop selling jewelry, candles, vases and locally hand-made bags and totes created from recycled sails by Save our Sail Bags. The exhibit spaces are also available to rent for events.

608 North presents a photography exhibition opening on Saturday, February 11th and running through Saturday, February 25th.

Our World in the Eye of the Photographer features the work of thirteen exciting photographers: Chip Reuben, Cecelia Gamet, Yoji Abe, David Engle, Ricardo Abbot, Bernard Fallon, Paul Bieden, Tom Prettyman, Jim McKinniss, Philip Earl, Denise Rogers, Alex Smith and local favorite, Robie Hutas.

The exhibit encompasses historical to contemporary works from around the world.
