Photo Video West, formerly Photo Expo West, returns this year to the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego, California. This event hosts thousands of photographers and videographers and is considered the must-attend event for creative multi-media artists.
This 7th Annual expo features two days of seminars, interactive demos, contests, portfolio reviews, and product specials. 2013 vendors include Nikon, Canon, Sony, and San Diego’s own, George’s Camera, just to name a few.
This year there will be a number of special guests offering their expertise in the areas of HDR photography, Photoshop, Digital Painting & Retouching, Video & Motion Graphics, and Mobile Photography (Phoneography). Professionals such as Alan Hess, Gigi Clark, David King, and John Toma will be teaching seminars on Saturday and Sunday in order to accommodate the crowds. Attendees are advised to arrive early to the seminars as they fill up quickly and seating is not guaranteed.
Many of the professionals and enthusiasts that attend Photo Video West and are interested in portrait, travel, sports, and landscape & nature photography will be happy to know that Fast Forward Events has worked hard to put on the best show to date. Cinematographers will also find that many of the well-known camera vendors will be catering to their tastes as they showcase the video capabilities of their newest camera technology. Passes are sold in a One-Day format for $12.00 and Weekend Pass for $20.00. Day or Weekend passes offer unlimited access to seminars.
