Rachel Uchitel denies the National Enquirer rumor of affair with Tiger Woods. Tiger Woods was involved in a minor car accident early Friday morning, and the car accident has brought to light another story from the National Enquirer stating that Woods has been having with Rachel Uchitel, an event planner who lives in New York City.
After the National Enquirer story broke, Rachel Uchitel made a statement about the alleged affair she was having Tiger Woods. Rachel Uchitel said:
“I don’t appreciate my name or what people think of me being dragged through the mud by people who don’t even bother to research what or who they’re talking about ... they should research who these stories are coming from, who they’re believing as a credible source. Not to mention that it’s in the National Enquirer.”
“I totally deny the Enquirer story. They did contact me about it, but they didn’t use any of my quotes or any of the information I gave them. They make it sound like I said those things, but it’s all other people saying I said things.”
The National Enquirer reported that one of their sources was Ashley Samson, and they claim that she is a close friend of Uchitel's. But Uchitel denies that and said she has only met her twice, and she believes Samson was paid $25,000 from the National Enquirer, according to Black Book Mag.
In 2008, Tiger Woods underwent his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah. Woods missed two months of the PGA Tour while he recovered. In the video below, Florida officials speak about the Tiger Woods car accident.
