Over 100,000 pairs of free party glasses have hit the streets of Manhattan with people wandering around the skyscrapers with pink party glasses. Pictures of Times Square on Twitter and Facebook show hundreds of people who arrived early to have a good location to watch the ball drop in Times Square. Outside of everyone being excited, the one thing in common is most of the individuals in the pictures are wearing the pink party glasses that TLC is giving out.
“The Honey Boo Boo glasses that will be in Times Square New Year’s Eve night we heard 100,000 pairs will be there they are so cool,” wrote Alana’s mom, June, on the family’s official Facebook page Sunday night.
The Honey Boo Boo party glasses might be an interesting souvenir, but expect the glasses to be a commodity real soon. Fans online are looking for people who got a pair to purchase them after the New Year. Several online sites, including Craigslist, have individuals willing to pay $20 plus shipping for the glasses after the New Year’s Eve event is over.
