Never ones to put on a dull show, The Bright Light Social Hour's dance party at Kessler Theatre in Dallas certainly woke up the Thursday night crowd.
As one of Austin's most promising upcoming bands, the energy and passion poured onstage was contagious in the audience. The band's unique take on Southern rock infused with dance beats and soulful vocals has been gaining traction since several festival dates, including a performance at last year's Austin City Limits Festival.
See photos from the show to the left, and look below for remaining tour dates in support of the group's self-titled album, which was released in 2010.
