In London to help promote the 2012 Olympics, Nastia Liukin apparently couldn't resist flipping for joy.
A shoot Liukin did with Getty Images photographer Bryn Lennon showed Liukin doing leaps and side aerials in the foreground of some of London's most famous monuments, including Big Ben, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. She also took a moment to mug with a lookalike of the Queen and showed off her medals from 2008.

This is also the first time Liukin has shown any gymnastics since the 2009 U.S. Championships. And though she's given no indication as to whether she'll resume training or not (or already has), these photographs are likely to be enough to keep people wondering -- and hoping.
Liukin is in London with six other U.S. Olympic champions from 2008 are spending several days in London this month to promote the Games. Read Liukin's impressions of London and find out more about her adventures here.
