The 2013 Consumer Electronics Show has just concluded another successful run in Las Vegas. On the last day, the Consumer Electronics Association announced that this year’s mega-electronics event was the largest in its 45+ year history.
With over 20,000 new innovative products from 15 categories unveiled at the show from more than 3,250 exhibitors, it’s difficult to narrow down what were the best new gadgets at the world’s largest consumer electronics show. But some of the best were fairly obvious, such as Samsung’s bendable OLED, Sony’s Xperia Z smart phone and LG’s Ultra HD.
While there were no earth shattering developments like there have been in past Consumer Electronics Shows, with culture altering products such as the VCR, the CD player, Digital Satellite System, HDTV, Microsoft Xbox and the Blue Ray DVD player, there were still plenty of creative new products to enjoy.
The Consumer Electronics Association is already looking forward to the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, returning to Las Vegas Tuesday, January 7 – Friday, January 10, 2014.
