There's the good, the boring, the downright perplexing -- no, we're not talking about floor choreography, we're talking about meet posters.
The promo posters for many of this year's big competitions -- from World Cups to invitationals linked to famous names -- are generally well laid out and even thought provoking. Like a (female) gymnast's floor routine, each has its own theme and personality:
- UCLA stars as masked superheros promoting this week's "Meet the Team" event? Very fun and cool.
- Thomas Bouhail as a James Bond type for Paris's 2015 Worlds bid? You practically hear the chase scene music in your head.
- A suited-up Stella Zakharova for her namesake competition? Well, OK...
- Oksana Chusovitina as the poster girl for the Pre Olympic Youth Cup? Wrong on several levels.
But all are visually intriguing. Click here to enter the gallery.
