Photo Friday suburbia theme at Center for Creative Photography (Video)

The January 2013 Photo Friday event is from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013. This month's theme is Suburbia. The event provides visitors with an unique opportunity to see selection items from the collection more closely than when on normal display. This is a free event that takes place in the Volkerding Print Viewing Room.

The Suburbia themed Photo Friday event will include photographs taken of suburbia and suburban living. Photographs featured were taken by Lewis Baltz, Joe Deal, William Larson, Bill Owens, Mickey Pallas, Andrew Phelps, Arthur Taussig, and Garry Winogrand.

About the Center of Creative Photography: The Center of Creative Photography is located on the U of A Campus just south of Speedway near the pedestrian underpass that is just East of Park Ave. The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
