Kate Upton might be sexy, but she apparently doesn't need a helmet to stay safe. The model who can wow a crowd by just showing up, seems to feel it isn't necessary to be safe when riding vehicles. Posting a picture of her arriving on set, Kate Upton gave everyone a glimpse of her riding without a helmet on Sunday and she even appeared to forget wearing too much clothing too.
“This is how I show up to set haha,” tweeted Kate Upton from her official Twitter account on Sunday. The model attached a picture of her in a wooded area, riding an ATV vehicle.
While most people who ride the equipment know that at least a helmet and a pair of pants are needed for safety, Upton doesn't have either of those items on. With a pair of sunglasses, a shirt that had a wide v-neck to her navel and a pair of shorts, it appears that she rode up about as unprotected as she could be.
As the model was probably just arriving on set to do her job, the reality is most states require helmets for the safety of the driver and passenger. One of the biggest rules (and laws in most states) is a DOT certified helmet to protect the rider in case the vehicle flips over.
Off-roading is a popular sport which has a strong following. While many know the essentials of being safe around the vehicles is essential, it appears Kate Upton might have been aware she could be breaking the law. Which is disappointing as everyone who loves the model looks up to her as a role model in some capacity (of course that just comes with the territory of being famous.)
