Phoenix release a Korean drama as 'Entertainment' music video

French alt-rock band Phoenix dropped the music video for their latest single, “Entertainment,” on Thursday. While Phoenix does not partake in the clip, it centers around a Korean soap opera scene.

Phoenix's new “Entertainment” single is influenced by Asian music, which makes it sound at home on the Patrick Daughters-helmed Korean clip. The group chose to sit the video out and instead focus it on a soap opera scene featuring romance, obsession, and deception. Among the different characters, things takes a turn for the worst when murder is added to the equation. Phoenix seal all the drama with a kiss at the end, though.

“Entertainment” was released as a single last month. The synth-rock track previews Phoenix's first studio album in four years, “Bankrupt!,” due for release on April 22. They will be promoting the effort on the road through music festivals like Coachella Valley, Primavera Sound and Beale Street.
