Phoenix Film Critics pick top ten films of 2013

The Golden Globes will air tonight on television and the Academy Award nominations will be made this week, but the Phoenix Film Critics Society has already named their favorite movies of 2013. In alphabetical order, the top ten that they voted on are as follows:

"12 Years a Slave"

"American Hustle"

"Captain Phillips"

"Dallas Buyers Club"





"Saving Mr. Banks"

"Short Term 12"

Of those ten, the Best Picture chosen by the Phoenix Film Critics society was "12 Years a Slave," which is nominated for a Golden Globe and all but guaranteed an Academy Award nod this year in several categories.
